Had a blast joining the Swiss EnvSci students from @zhaw on their tour of Italian green buildings this weekend - ran a couple of workshops on how to incorporate a green roof co in between visits to Milan, Viareggio, Manarola & Pisa

But what I tend to notice most is the simplicity of the vertical planting - climbing and trailing plants, often only a few specimens per building - with little or no maintenance, and changing all the time with the seasons. So cool.
